In the Introduction of my book, You Are Unstoppable!, I introduced you to the L.I.F.E concept and why I choose to write books with these four key words. The acronym L.I.F.E. stands for Leadership, Inspiration, Faith, and Empowerment. You can live your life on the L.I.F.E mission by taking the time to look inside yourself each day to see if you are living in accordance with your purpose, values, and worldview. Staying congruent is the gift of introspection. It allows you to continue to fulfill your purpose by refocusing yourself.

Leadership

Leadership is an inside-out process and is shaped by your values, character, choices, opportunities, experiences, and your worldview. Leading with your purpose and your core values ensures your life and leadership are congruent. As an authentic leader, you inspire yourself and others to greatness.

This is the key to leading yourself. You have to know who you are before you know where you can go. Your life’s purpose begins with the self-knowledge of why you are here and what you are living to fulfill. Go the extra mile in your life. Do not settle for your best; strive to achieve your greatest.

The extra mile mindset will help you succeed in life and in your work. People will notice when you do more than you were asked to do. When you exceed expectations, you are creating more possibilities for your future.

Inspiration

Living on purpose and serving a higher purpose breathes life into you every day and gives you the desire to reach your goals. You need to live each day congruently by living within your beliefs and values.

Unleashing your inspired life starts with living your life’s purpose. As you grow and develop, you assimilate new ideas, new concepts, and new skills that change you from the “as-is” model to the “to-be” model. You are constantly reinventing yourself as growth and development brings new life into your abilities, talents, and gifts, and by discarding the old. Keep moving from the old self to the new self. You will marvel at the new creation that you can become.

Seek to inspire yourself and your people every day. Take time to breathe life into yourself and those around you by being an inspiration. Being inspirational is a choice you make every day and make throughout your day. You can choose to breathe life into others or you can choose to extinguish hope.

Faith

Life is an adventure of self-discovery and discovering life. Faith in yourself and faith in God provides you the strength you need each day to put your foot on the path and begin each new day in awe and wonder.

Using your faith as your measuring standard, you can create your life’s vision to achieve your dreams and goals. You must also have faith in yourself and believe you are unstoppable. Take the time to see the possibilities that lie before you. When you take the time to see the possibilities that the future can hold for you it creates a momentum in your life to succeed and achieve your dreams.

Seeing the future possibilities is a powerful positive motivator. The first step in making the impossible the possible is faith in your talents, gifts, and mostly, faith in yourself. By focusing on mindfulness, you can see the possibilities in your life. Take time to see the possibilities in your life.

Empowerment

Your greatest power in life is the liberty to choose. It is the liberty to choose what you want to do with your life, where you want to go, and what you want to become. No one can take this power away from you; it is yours alone. You can do what you want to do; you can be who you want to be.

You can live an empowered life through your decisions and choices each day. Your choices determine your attitude and your altitude. When you follow a strong and empowering purpose, you will live, think, and act on purpose and within your purpose. Life is a journey not a destination.

You do not achieve the prize by reaching for what is in your grasp. You need to stretch yourself, get out of your comfort zones, and reach far beyond what you can see. Keep your eye on the prize of life–the people you meet, the experiences you have, the beauty you see, and most of all, the life you lead. Strive to live your life inspiring people.
